The Labradoodle Standards Sizes: Standard: Height 21-24 inches Characteristics: Beautiful The Labradoodle combines the best traits of the Labrador, best known for its outstanding intelligence and trainability, and the Poodle, best known for low to non-shedding coat and lack of doggie smell. Labradoodles are slightly heavier than the Standard Poodle and have heavier front legs. The Labradoodle coat can be curly or wavy. Their coat should be 4-6 inches in length. They do not need regular professional grooming. Some have described their coats as "wash and wear." Some owners prefer to clip their Labradoodles. This can be done at home or by a professional dog groomer. Life Expectancy: Labradoodles tend to live for about 13-15 years with proper health care, diet, exercise, and TLC. Colors: Black, Chalk, Cream, Apricot, Chocolate, Café au Lait, Red, Gold, and Silver.
